Race 1:  Stacey got a great start from the second row and was up to 4th by turn one. Half a lap later she moved up to 3rd while the two leaders started to open a small gap. Shay Gauthier passed Stacey for 3rd again and both of them along with Eric Green closed the gap to the leaders David McKay and Austin Shaw-Oleary, making it a five way battle for the lead. On lap four Stacey made a double draft pass at the end of the straight into the fast right to move up to 2nd. She looked comfortable with the lead group and was riding smoothly. Going into the fast turn two on lap five she was tagged from behind, sending her off the track. She made a great effort to ride it out and nearly succeeded, but hit a large bump near the long track configuration and went down. Shay Gauthier also went down leaving a three way battle for the lead. Stacey managed to pick her bike up and get going again to a round of appaulse from the spectator's in the grandstand. A lap down she crossed the line in 12th position. Stacey was very dissappointed to loose the opportunity to gain more points. Her 12th place gives her 15 championship points dropping her to 4th place, 12 points fbehind the leader. Congratulations to David McKay, Eric Green and Austin Shaw-Oleary for their podiums.

Stacey's bike has now been repaired thanks to Franklyn Dominguez and Robert Holt. Thanks also to Eric and Honda for loaning parts to make the repairs. Stacey will be back on track for round four today and is hoping to bounce back with a good result.
