CSBK Rd 7 & 8 (Mont-Tremblant) - Double podium again for Stacey

Race 2:
Stacey and Thomas made the break from the start with Ryan having to start from pit lane. Stacey lead for most laps with Thomas taking over the lead a few laps from the end. In the meantime Ryan put in a great ride to close back up to the lead pack and passed Stacey on the last lap for second. Stacey was not prepared to give up the place and braked deep into the Mont-Tramblant "cork-screw" and held on to take a close 2nd 0.28 sec behind Thomas. In the end she did not need to make the pass (unknown at the time) as Ryan was assessed a 10 sec penalty for passing outside the chicane as he acclerated down pit rode to make up for lost time at the start. The penalty dropped him to 4th behind Baillie Ives. Tham means Stacey now has a very slender 4 point lead in the championship heading into the last two races in two weeks at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (formerly Mosport). Congratulations to Thomas on his double win and to Baillie for his first National podium.
