Race: Both Toni and Stacey improved their lap times by half a second in the morning warm-up. Again, Toni was marginally faster. In the race, Stacey got another good start but again dropped back through the field. A mistake on turn four allowed Connor Warnell to pass and Toni and Ellen Warnell to close in on her rear wheel. It was the siblings' private race within a race! Stacey got her head down to close the gap on Connor. At half distance the red flag came out after a big high side by Cerdric Martineau. Cedric was able to crawl over the pit wall, but his bike remained in the middle of the track. We were all glad to see a thumbs up from Cedric as they put him into the ambulance and even happier to see him return to his pit a short time later. The race was restarted but reduced to four laps. Stacey and Toni again got away well. Connor got past Stacey and was hounded all the way by Toni. On the last turn Stacey got better drive around the outside and managed to pass Connor on the run to the line. Toni tried to pass him on the left side but there was not enough time before the line and finished .051 of a second behind. Stacey finished 18th and Toni finished 20th. Both improved their lap times again by a second. Again Toni had the consolation of have a faster lap time than Stacey. Stacey finished the Championship in 18th position and Toni 25th out of the 37 season points' scorers. Congratulations to Will Hornblower on his double victories and Rayn Appenrodt for winning the championship.
