Warm up: Stacey took the opportunity to try a few things out in the morning warm up. Toni was able to match her best times of the weekend. The weather remained sunny and warm.

Race: Stacey got a solid start and by half a lap had moved up two positions to 15th. As they entered the final turns of the first lap she was hit from behind, with both riders crashing out, fortunately without major injuries. The all clear was given after a quick check over by the medical crew, but she will have a painful left foot for a few days. The race was red flagged for another incident, but the minor repairs could ne be completed in time to make the grid for the restart. If fact, it may not have been allowed by the officials anyway. It was a disappointing conclusion as Stacey was confident of improving upon her 12th position and had been targeting a top ten finish. The restart race was a four lap dash to the line. Toni was able to move up a few positions to finish 23rd.
