Report: European Junior Cup Rd 4, Misano, ITA

Well another new track to learn with a track walk on Thursday and 30 minutes in FP1 on Friday. The weather was cooler for Saturday morning FP2 but managed to dropped times by over 3 seconds. However, a low side crash in turn 4 right at the end the session put an end to FP2 . Minor damage to the bike and it was repaired quickly for afternoon Qualifying. Was disappointed not to improve lap times which meant starting the race back in 24th.

The race was Sunday afternoon. Got a good start into turn 1, moving up a few places. Had a good battle for most of the race with #9 Connor London. Managed to pull a gap towards the end of the race to finish 17th. The two guys in front increased their gap for the final overall points position - finishing 8 seconds ahead. Relatively happy with the race. Really enjoyed the Misano track - I think it is my favourite so far.

Thanks to Seth for helping repair the bike, Jared for tips and advice and the Ortt's for pit crewing again.

A quick dash back to Canada for CSBK rd 2 at Autodrome St-Eustache next weekend.
