Stacey Nesbitt and Hikari Okubo to race CSBK Rd 2 at St-Eustache July 5-7

  • A change of plan will see Stacey race at CSBK round two. The 2012 CSBK CBR250 title holder will compete in the AM600 class. Many thanks to Forensi-Tech Racing for making it possible as the program has only been put together in the last two weeks. It will be a steep learning curve and first run out on a 600 this year. Stacey has been racing a RS250 Honda at R.A.C.E. and a 125 at V.R.R.A. in 2013.

Hikari, the 2012 Asia Dream Cup champion, will race the CBR250 class. Stacey and Hikari met last year at the final round of the ADC in Qatar and have kept in touch (Stacey was a wild card entry). What was originally planned to be a short vacation in Montreal has evolved into a race weekend. Again, a big thank you goes to Greg at Powersports Canada, Ottawa for providing the 2012 championship winning CBR250. It is a hectic schedule for Hikari as he is competing in the all Japan GP3 championship the weekend prior to St-Eustache.

“I can’t thank Forensi-Tech Racing and Powersports Canada enough. It has been a busy few weeks” said Grant Nesbitt. CBR250 race one will be held on Saturday and race two on Sunday. All other races take place on Sunday. Look out for Stacey (#316) and Hikari (#78) on track and stop by the pit area to say hello. Free entry for accompanied children under 12 years.
