Stacey had her first opportunity to race the LLF Racing Team TZ125 Yamaha and Shannonville Pro track. Making a steady start in practice, she continued to make progress on Friday. Unfortunately she had a crash at Allen's corner in the last session but apart from a banged and bruised elbow there were no serious injuries. Repairs were made to the bike and she was ready to go again for Saturday. It did not slow her up and she managed to go a second quicker in the first practice session of the day.

The starting grid for the first round is based on the previous year's championship position, As Stacey has not raced VRRA before she had to start at the back for each of here races. That was way back in row 9 around 30th on the grid. Added to that she had bad starts getting familiar with a GP125 and was generally last into the first turn. In each race Stacey worked her way through the field to finish top 8 in all the heat races and finals against larger capcity motorcycles.

In the final race of the day P4 GP Challenge (only for GP250 and GP125 bikes) Stacey started in row 6 (125s started in the socond "wave") again getting a bad start. She worked her way up the field to pass the leading 125 on lap 7 or 8 and set off after the 250s in front. A few more laps and she might have gotten top three. She crossed the line in 4th overall and won the 125 category.

A big thank you to LLF Racing Team (Len and Nancy) for giving Stacey the opportunity to race their 125 in the VRRA series, Next round is back at Shannonville Nelson track early July.
